BOMA Community Affairs Committee
Denver Metro BOMA's Community Affairs Committee has been the community outreach arm of Denver Metro BOMA for over 20 years. There are two main events that the CAC organizes every year, the Annual Spring Work Day and the Annual BOMA Gift and Toy Drive.
Spring Work Day
Buildings can participate in collection sites for the Denver Metro BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) annual Gift & Toy Drive which kicks off in November for buildings across the Front Range. Help make the holiday season brighter for thousands of children and adults by placing a donation box in your building lobby.
Participating buildings must have their boxes decorated with wrapping paper and in their building lobby. Denver Metro BOMA will provide a Gift & Toy Drive flyer to participating buildings to email to tenants prior to the boxes going out. The gifts and toys will be picked up by BOMA members and donations will be sorted by more than 100 BOMA volunteers before being distributed to major charities including Mount Saint Vincent’s Home, Denver Children’s Home, Center for Work Education and Employment, Champa house, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, The Delores Project, Denver Children’s Advocacy Center, Father Wood’s Gateway Women’s Center, Jeffco Action Center, SafeHouse Denver, and the Visiting Nurses Association.
