Denver Metro BOMA will educate, enlighten, and bring important issues to the industry through various events. BOMA provides continuing education seminars and training for commercial real estate professionals. Also, we provide programs leading to professional designations RPA (Real Property Administrator), SMA (Systems Maintenance Administrator) designations, and the CMCP (Certified Manager of Commercial Properties) certification.
BOMA holds membership meetings throughout the year. These meetings include a networking component, a time for Association business, and a speaker. On average, the program is, on avg, 30 minutes in length with Q&A, and lunch is provided.
Information and communication are vital to the membership. To give our members the information they need to make timely decisions and communicate with tenants and ownership, the Coffee Chat was created. Whether in person or virtual, it is centered around d a timely topic and scheduled quickly to be current and relevant. These are free one-hour to one and half hour sessions.
Education being a key pillar, these education sessions will be planned to educate the building teams on critical commercial real estate concepts. Usually an hour to an hour and a half in length, these will have DORA credits if they can obtain approval.
Similar to seminars but usually longer in length to venture deeper into a topic or series of topics. Workshops will also provide training resulting in certificates such as CPR or Sustainability.
Outside of the regular two-per-week emails, communications to members that are of an urgent and/or timely manner will be sent if considered urgent.
